The Uzum-Pêssego App is a specialist system that proposes to support extension workers, consultants and technicians in general, as well as students and farmers in the rapid diagnosis of diseases, pests and other physiological disorders of the peach tree in a simple, friendly and intuitive way.
Available for free, just install the system on Android phones and tablets and answer the questions from the selection of photos that best identify the problem in your orchard.
At the end, the user receives an indication of the disturbance that is occurring, together with a value indicating the probability of its occurrence.
It also provides access to specific recommendations on an information screen, with details of symptoms, prevention, control and management strategies and a list of links to publications that provide additional detailed information about the disorders.
This technology was developed in a partnership between Embrapa Uva e Vinho and Embrapa Clima Temperado.
